Eric founded Leverage Disability and Life Insurance Services in July 2018, bringing together his playing career, coaching experience, and advisory expertise to protect athletes and entertainers. Before Leverage, he spent 6 years at Parq Advisors and 8 years as a professional basketball player.

A standout at the University of Kansas, Eric was drafted by the New York Knicks in the 2nd round (42nd overall) of the 2001 NBA Draft. He went on to play 8 years across 8 different NBA organizations, D-League, and international clubs. Off the court, he coached and taught at Villa Park High School for 3 years and was a McDonald's All-American in 1997.

Today, Eric specializes in Professional and Student-Athlete Sports Disability Insurance and provides life insurance for athletes, entertainers, and affluent individuals. He works closely with Power Five Institutions and has a vast network of financial advisors and sports agents that trust him to coverage their clients. He is a registered supporter of NACDA's compliance division NAAC and was a guest speaker on an NIL panel for The Knight Commission.

Outside of work, Eric serves on the Board Development Task Force at Orange County Ronald McDonald House and supports the Jessie Rees Foundation. He won the 2018 NEGU Golf Classic and enjoys spin, surfing, golf, drums, and mountain biking. Eric lives in Corona del Mar with his son Cooper and French Bulldog Sophie.
